Getting a ship owner to fill out a charterer questionnaire is a common requirement prior to fixing a ship on a charter. The following describes how this can be done in the most efficient way using the Ankeri Platform.
Creating a ship profile
If charterer hasn't already created his own version of a ship profile for the ship in question, he can do that following the instructions on how to manually add new ship profile.
Updating with available data
When a new ship profile is added, Ankeri automatically checks for available data for the ship in the data sources that have been configured for your company. The number of available updates are then shown on the ship profile header as displayed in the following picture.
Now those available updates can either be included one by one or you can choose to update them all by refreshing data using available data sources. It is also always nice to update the ship profile picture.
Sharing a ship profile with a review request
Once the ship profile has been prepared it is time to share it with the relevant ship owner (or manager). Included with the ship profile share you should send a review request that will initiate a review process for the ship.
When the review request has been sent you can follow its status under the Review tab on the ship profile and it will also be included in the profile shares report.
