As a part of editing field settings, the user is offered to map each field to the available data sources as shown below.
By selecting the cog icon on top of each data source, the mapping path can be edited from the following dialog. This same dialog can also be accessed from the table in Mapping of fields to data sources.
From the dialog, the user can edit the mapping path for each of the data sources and test it against selected ships to see if it has been correctly configured (Test mapping).
Testing of mapping path uses the data source that is turned on. If no data source is turned on, the newest is used for the testing, i.e. the latest file that has been uploaded in data sources.
Custom field priority
When fields are updated with data sources they are prioritised according to the generic order of sources in Settings.
In addition to that, each field can have customised field priority. To add a custom priority order for a field you can use the arrows shown on the image above to re-order fields top-down, higher to lower priority. Fields with custom priority are shown in blue rows under Settings -> Ship profile config -> Mapping of fields to data sources.
