Events are located in a tab on Information part of each ship profile.
While Specification is designed to hold the latest ship information at all times, Events can keep track of events where the history can be of importance. Events are mainly intended for events like dry docking, hull cleaning and propeller polishing but can also be used for other types of events such as change of flag, ship manager, classification society, etc.
Events for a ship are listed under a tab on each Ship profile as shown below. The Events information is split into a timeline on a graph where most recent event is displayed on top and a tabular view from where the events can be filtered based on type, edited and deleted.
The Add event button can be used to add a new event where the user is presented with a modal as shown below. All events have Type of event, Date and Comment where Type of event and Date are required fields. Each event type can in addition have different type of attributes.
The following image shows an event entry with Location as an attribute. Attributes are currently presented as text (see Location as example below) apart from a special case for paint suppliers and systems that can be given as dropdown when applicable (see latter example below).
A link icon shown next to a field indicates a connection to chartering questionnaire (Specification). When fields marked with link icon are updated, the connected fields in Specification is also updated. This also applies to connected fields that are left empty/blank. Fields marked with link icon cannot be edited directly from Specification where they are displayed in read-only mode as shown in following example.
Dry-docking event entry with special case of attributes for hull coatings is shown below. Delivery is another special case of event that also has hull coatings included. Only one Delivery event can be added per ship. To add special types of attributes such as hull coatings you need to contact Ankeri support.
Events can be added, edited and deleted depending on user rights of the each user. All users with rights to edit ship profiles are allowed to edit and delete events. Events can be configured by administrator at Event types.
Events are shared with ship profiles.
Events were originally released on 19 December 2019 and connection between Events and Specification is available from 23 January 2020.
